About the Show
Welcome to (Not) Your Dad’s Radio Show! Which is maybe a slightly misleading title because what we’re going for here is presenting the full Venn diagram of our music taste with our father’s. It’s going to be a combination of the songs we love because our fathers (and mothers!) love them too and the modern songs that we end up sending our parents because we think they’ll love them—more current hits that conjure up that same oldies vibe (we also want to include music from a more diverse range of artists, since we love the music our parents grew up on but were often frustrated by how white-guy led they ended up being). This means kind of a broad range of music: from folk/classic rock/older soul music to modern takes on those genres, and the music that bridges that gap.
