About the Show
We are a podcast that explore the issues at the forefront of women’s rights, queer rights, and reproductive justice. Our approach is one of intersectionality and introspection. We take deliberate care to choose topics that affect marginalized or underrepresented groups, particularly the queer and BIPOC communities. Our work aims to critically analyze the social world around us, the way we have constructed, made (il)legal, or even stigmatized abstract ideas like sexuality, gender, emotion. We consciously reject the idea of the savior complex (or, moreover, that any people or community needs “saving” at all); what we are doing, however, is our best attempt at mutual aid and awareness. Though we, as college students at a private PWI, undeniably have privilege, we strive to recognize any and all of our biases and prevent them from unduly influencing our content. This is an exercise of communal empathy and care; please, stay awhile.
