I’m not a music buff, but I’d like to be! Come with me on my journey to explore new music in all its forms as we become music buffs together! Each week tune in to hear a deep-dive into a new music genre, along with commentary answering all the burning questions of a budding music buff. Expect to learn the history, major influences, and stylistic elements of new genres as we collectively raise our musical lexicons and IQs! We’ll start by exploring high level ‘umbrella’ genres like Rock, the Blues, and Classical, but as the show progresses through the weeks we’ll dive deeper into sub-genres and micro-genres like Math Rock, Acid Jazz, and Hyperpop (just to name a few).
